“Knowing your value doesn’t change what comes your way, it just changes how you handle the things that come. Know your worth; Fix your attitude; And every challenge becomes an opportunity to learn, mature, and excel.” – Makafui.
When the dawn rises,
Glimpses of golden rays fall
Shimmering on diamond dews;
Beautiful Hope is nature’s prophecy,
Cast in stone and light and time.
Living portraits of timeless testimonies.
Ever new, ever changing, never despairing.
I’m not very big on anniversaries, but though I was quite busy yesterday, I kept feeling that I had forgotten something really important. Well, I remembered today (let’s blame it on my ‘excellent’ memory), that yesterday marked the first anniversary of this part of my journey on WordPress. And I must say it is an uncommon honour and my distinctive pleasure, to have had you all join in, one way or the other, in this journey. God bless you for reading, sharing, subscribing, commenting, liking, and the encouragement.
Today I can’t help but weep for Truth;
It has lost its appeal – the royal robes and the sparkling crown.
Her golden throne has been wrested away with impunity;
In her own imperial court she stands accused
Of being naked, bitter, unrealistic, and worthless.
She is her own defence in courts of silent judges and deaf juries.
